We have various options that will allow you to receive direct training for what you are looking for. Each training flight will consist of an instructional briefing that will cover the tasks to accomplish, goals for the flight, guidelines and the scenario (expected 30 minutes). After which, you and your instructor will move to the simulator for your briefed flight (expected 60 minutes). Once your flight is completed, you and your instructor will debrief the flight for all items needed to be discussed based on performance. (expected 30 minutes). The training options are broken down into four categories. A 2-hour block time will need to be scheduled.
Specific training on any flight profile you want to improve on or just learn for the first time. As examples, laser guided weapons delivery, Aircraft Carrier landings and aerial refueling to name a few.
Our advanced level of training allows the most long-term benefit for those thrill seekers wanting to experience a military aviation style of instruction and training syllabus. Initial qualification training (IQT) will give you a crawl, walk, run effect of instruction in learning every aspect of your aircraft of choice. At the beginning a member of the staff will interview you and you will receive a logbook, training folder and initial academics of your aircraft. Each flight is built to introduce an aspect of flying while preparing you for the ability to demonstrate what you’ve learned on your next training flight. The syllabus encompasses every mission aspect of your aircraft and prepares you for your evaluation (check ride) at the end. You will have the chance to proficiency advance to a higher-level flight if you show higher aptitude without the risk of failing one. Once you complete your evaluation (check ride) you will have the option for membership that allows low cost flying as you build hours for progression.
Only offered to customers that have completed an IQT syllabus with a successful evaluation. Must have 30 hours of flight time in your logbook after your evaluation. You will learn more about fuel management, formation flying, mission planning, tactical planning, decision making and threat systems at an unclassified level of course. If we can’t find it on the internet, we don’t teach it. 5 flight syllabi for $200 while all academics are free.
Only for formation lead qualified customers with 50 hours flight time post IQT. You will receive instructor fundamental academics at no cost while either training an IQT student with an instructor over your shoulder or having an instructor participate as your student. You will learn to instruct aircraft start up, navigation, air to air weapons employment (if applicable), air to ground weapons employment (if applicable), defensive systems, air refueling (if applicable) and landing procedures. Training syllabus will be dependent on aircraft with an instructor evaluation at the end.
NOTE: If you successfully finish with a qualified instructor evaluation you can now be contractually paid to instruct new IQT customers at a rate of $40 per instructor session.
